It's Pink and Green time at Stitches by the Bay as we celebrate Caitlin's 18th birthday on August 9th with a special 18% discount on all pink and green threads. Take advantage of this great opportunity to stock up on these lovely colors!

We've recently added some great new fibers to our selection. Come in and have a look at the exciting colors and textures available: We've got Lacquered Jewels and Super T (a great substitute for opalescent) from dede ogden; Trio from Brown Paper Packages, which is wonderful for those 18 mesh designs, as well as 5 new colors of their Silk and Ivory; Milk Yarn by Collage in their "Miami Beach" colors, and some terrific new accessories, too!

We Are Now Taking Sign-ups for a Beginning Needlepoint Private Lessons

Now offered as one-on-one personal instruction from our in-house teacher, June Mcknight, students will create a darling monogram pillow while learning a dozen creative stitches in the Paternayan wool colors of their choice. The class fee includes a hand-drawn 13 mesh canvas, a wooden work frame, needles, a needlethreader,
a beautiful multi-page class booklet and an hour of private instruction.

WEDNESDAY STITCH PARTIES

Our stitch parties are a great time to drop in. From 11-2, just sit and stitch, chat and have lunch. There's always a positive atmosphere and friendly people
to share a chuckle or an idea with.

Octopus Pudgie Class
coming this Fall!

The success of last year's Spooky Club has inspired us to feature yet another of Patti Mann's wonderfully whimsical Pudgie animals in a series of workshops. Beginning in September, Stitches by the Bay will host monthly classes featuring different panels from the Pudgie Octopus, a delightful 3-dimensional design. Each class fee of $70 includes canvas, materials and instruction, and participants get the additional advantage of a 10% discount on fabrication once the stitching is complete!

Mummy Corn Workshop

Witchy Woman Stockings

Have you seen a class that we offered that you have missed? We often have class kits available after the class is over. Right now we have kits from the Witchy Woman Workshop. Call us for the details!

These delightful witch hats from Melissa Shirley Designs were one of our previous projects, and just a sample of the creative needle art instruction we offer at Stitches by the Bay.

Pre-registration for these classes is necessary and a class fee is required at the time of registration. Should cancellation be necessary, a refund can only be given if a replacement student can be found. The number of participants in a workshop is limited to six allowing for very personalized instruction. Workshops are scheduled for three hours, but should enrollment be less than six students, the number of class hours may be shortened. Large personal sacks of threads can no longer be accommodated. Students are encouraged to pre-select project threads from their personal stash prior to class or better yet, allow June to make creative choices from Stitches by the Bay's outstanding thread collection during the workshop. This will enhance the creative process for all.
